With Grenache and Syrah sourced from Tierra Alta Vineyard in Ballard Canyon and Mourvèdre from Riata Oaks Vineyard in Santa Ynez, this wine was produced at our winery in Crestline, California. The wine opens up in the glass with bright fresh aromas of cherry pie surrounded by mandarin orange, ruby red grapefruit, and red plum. The palate follows with the same bright red cherry and citrus fruit, cherry-cola and mocha. The cherry pie quality surrounds the mid palate with lots of allspice, sweet caramel, toffee, subtle herbs and toasty oak, with a long, lingering finish. The wine was aged in American and French Oak barrels for one year in the cellar prior to bottling.
