76% Cabernet, 10% Merlot, 14% Petit Verdot
With grapes sourced from the Frankel Family Estate and Defiance Vineyards in Paso Robles and produced at our winery in Crestline, California. The wine opens with aromas of fresh ripe blackberries, blueberries, black plum, cherry, espresso, and mocha followed by undertones of sweet tobacco, cedar, and fresh herbs. The palate delivers the same fruit on the palate followed by cocoa nibs, cherry liqueur, and coffee elements. It has a nice rocky minerality with a subtle herbaceous. The finish is bright with firm tannins and a lingering finish. Aged in 50% new and 50% once used French Oak barrels for two years prior to bottling. Enjoy!
